A Bozeman Florist Who Grows the Flowers First

I'm Adrienne. I grow flowers on our farm in Bozeman, and then I turn them into bouquets, bouquet subscriptions, and wedding flowers. Farmer first, florist second (and kindergarten teacher the rest of the time).

Most flower shops order from wholesalers, and most of those flowers are flown in from South America or Holland. Mine come from the field. I start about 95% of what I grow from seed, so the stems in your bouquet were in the ground a day or two ago. That's what farm-to-vase means around here.

Cut Yesterday (or This Morning)

Imported flowers can spend a week or two in boxes and coolers before they ever reach a shop. Mine get cut the day of pickup or the day before, so they open up in YOUR kitchen instead of in a warehouse. They last longer, too. (Water. Water! Water!!! Farm-fresh flowers drink water like you would not believe.)

About 95% of my crops start as seeds in Bozeman. No air freight and no harsh pesticides. Just cover crops, crop rotation, a lot of compost, and a lot of patience (the patience is the hard part).

I grow the varieties you won't find in a grocery store bucket. Ranunculus and peonies in spring. Dahlias (fancy, bougie queens) and lisianthus in summer. Sunflowers and grasses when fall shows up. What you get depends on what the farm gives me that week - and there is always enough.

What's Bloomin' Through the Season

The farm runs on Montana's calendar, not mine. Spring brings tulips and ranunculus. Summer goes big with dahlias, zinnias, snapdragons, sunflowers, and cosmos. Fall gets warm and moody with grasses and dried flowers. A bouquet subscription gets you a little bit of all of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver flowers in Bozeman?

Only for full-service weddings, where delivery and setup are part of the package. Everything else - bouquets, subscriptions, and DIY wedding buckets - is picked up at the farm in Bozeman. (It means your flowers go straight from the field to your car, which is about as fresh as it gets.)

How far in advance should I book wedding flowers?

Six to twelve months ahead is the sweet spot, especially for June through September. I'm booking summer 2027 weddings now. Booking early gives me time to plan and plant specific varieties for your day, so reach out and let's talk flowers.

What makes farm-fresh flowers different?

Time and distance. My flowers are cut the day of pickup or the day before, not shipped across the world, so they open slowly and last longer in your vase. And I grow lots of varieties you'll never see in a grocery store bucket.

Are you open year-round?

The fresh flower season runs May through October. Winter is for dried flowers, seed catalogs, and planning next year (plus kindergarten, which takes all of me from fall to spring). Wedding inquiries are welcome any time of year.

Do you offer flower workshops?
